Poetry types, LImerick

limerick There are many limerick poems available-try to read as many as you can. A limerick is five lines long and has a very special rhythm which is easy to recognise. lines 1,2 and 5 rhyme with each other 3 and 4 also rhyme with each other. 

 Here is an example... 

 There was a young lad from nepal who loved nothing more than broomball wearing his tights and a cap and step up to kick a rat and hit a home run past y'all

This is an old piece of work I done. This work is to show what the limerick type poem is. There is an example of a limerick poem I created.
